The Most Failed Computers in the History

December 15 [Thu], 2011, 18:16

It is really amazing that among the 16 computers that were the most failed in the world, Apple accounts for a quarter! Unbelievable! But on the other hand, if it were not for this failures Apple should not achieve such splendid performance in the world. Just as an old saying says:"Failure is the mother of success."

Well, come to the point, let's count some of these computers together. Since the IMB released its first PC its history is almost about 30 years. In 1980, Adam Osborne launched a computer in the name of himself and turned out to be great success. But its successor Osborne Executive was not that lucky even could describe as crushing defeat cause the company bankrupted in 1983. The next is Apple III, actually, this PC was really very shinning at that time with the 8-bit SynterTek 6502A CPU and excellent monitor. But the price was up to $5000-7000 that for most people it was prohibitively! GateWay Destination, another loser. But you can not imagine the reason the reason was that it was too ahead of the time that people can not accept it so it failed.

Well, as time is limited, today we have to stop here. And thanks for reading, see you next time!
