America's toughest milkman: Officer becomes internet sensation after oakley sunglasses sale he's pictured delivering two gallons to family with young children during lock down
With a desperate manhunt underway and an alleged terrorist on the loose, Boston residents were told to hold up in their homes for an unprecedented city-wide lock down on Friday.
But in those tense hours, there was also compassion.
An image of a Brookline police officer delivering two gallons of milk to a stranded family in Watertown has gone viral as people across the country were captivated by the simple act.

The original photo shows a policeman in a
bulletproof Christian Louboutin Pas Cher vest, sunglasses, and cap, all black. He also appears to be
armed. But in either hand, he is seen carrying a gallon of milk.
The officer, whose identity was at first unknown, was later identified as Brookline officer John Bradley.
The Boston Police Department had originally claimed the officer was part of their ranks, writing on Twitter several hours ago: ‘BPD officer delivers milk to a family with young Louboutin Pas Cher children in Waterdown during the lockdown.’
They then followed up with the tweet: ‘This is a Brookline police department (BPD) officer. Apologies for confusion… Awesome job and photo!! (sic)’
The Brookline Police Department later identified him as John Bradley, though it remains unclear who took the picture of the officer.
The entire city of Boston and its surrounding suburbs were on total lock down Friday as dozens of local, regional, and federal officers conducted an all-out manhunt for 19-year-old bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
The bombing suspect was taken into custody Friday evening and remains in cheap designer sunglasses critical condition at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston.
Brookline, while technically its own town, is a hamlet of Boston with a population of around 59,000 residents.
