I decided to do a small review of the various Korean beauty products I have either been using for awhile, and the ones that I have recently purchased.
Here we go!
I'm starting the review with one of the items I've been using the longest{over two months now}
Etude House Sleeping Pack for oily skin:

As already mentioned, this is for oily type skin with large pores, which is pretty much what I have. I've always had a problem with my skin being very oily in the morning{yuck, I know!} so I was more than tempted to buy this upon reading that it helps in controlling sebum production. Some people have reported a slight tingly sensation after applying, but I did not experience anything of the sort(of course, this all depends on how sensitive your skin is, I am only writing this down as a warning-alcohol is the second ingredient, and if you're sensitive to it, then this might not be the product for you). This pack is applied before going to bed, and rinsed off in the morning.
The pack has a creamy texture, and a slight floral fragrance that is very pleasant and not overpowering. The pack absorbs very easily into the skin, leaving behind a nice, matte finish. I have been using this for a little over two months now{in need of getting a new one soon as well!} and I have to say that I am very happy with the results. My skin did not break out, and I see a difference in how oily my skin is during the day. And even better, I no longer have the same oily skin in the morning issues that I used to experience prior to using this pack.
Next up is the Sweetheart Body Lotion from Etude House:

I've been on the market for a new body lotion, preferably one with some kind of floral fragrance. I read that this lotion had a yummy, floral scent to it, so I went ahead and ordered it. I am not disappointed! The smell reminded me of a combo of Gardenias and the Night Blooming Cereus{we used to grow the latter in Venezuela, and they smelled heavenly when they opened!} the lotion is creamy, but not oily and it absorbed very easily into my skin leaving it very soft and with a hint of it's scent. Lotion comes in a convenient pump dispenser so that you get just the right amount.
Last Etude House item is their Hand Bouquet hand mask:

Now, I had tried the Bihada hand mask, and was ok with it(although I do wish they used a bit more essence, they were kinda stringy on it, which inevitably affected the results. On top of that, they are very pricey-about $5.99 each at my local J-Mart)
I decided to purchase the Etude House brand since they were relatively cheaper($1.81 a pop!)and hell, I have liked nearly everything I have tried from this brand!
It's pretty much just like the Bihada hand masks, one pouch is for the essence infused glove, and the other is for a pair of regular plastic gloves that go over the first pair:

(Haha, please ignore my terrible attempt at concealing notes written on my desk calendar
)
Masks are left on for about 15-20 mins. and after that, you massage the essence into your skin. What's really neat about these is that the package comes with this cute acupuncture pressure chart for your hands. The scent is "Steamed Milk", but in all honestly, it just basically smelled like baby powder. Not that I have any complaints, it was very mild. The masks had waaay more essence than the Bihada ones, they left my hands feeling super plump and soft, and on top of that, the scent left behind was very pleasant. I'll be switching to these from now on. It would be great if they made some feet and neck masks as well, I would definitely buy those as well.
Next we have Skin Food Black Sesame Hot Mask:

I first tried this when I received it as a sample, and was so happy with the results that I decided to get one of the little tubs it comes in. The mask contains black sesame extracts and it is used for deep pore cleaning. Mask contains salt and sugar and it is applied all over face in a circular motion. Leave it on for 3-5 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. Texture is thick and gooey, with sprinkles of black sesame seeds. There is a heating sensation that was very mild, and only lasted for a few seconds. My face felt very clean afterward, without that dry, tightening feeling that some deep cleansing masks leave you with. It smells very sweet, and yes, it is not very pleasant looking when you open the little tub, but trust me, it goes on your skin very clear. You won't look freaky XD
And lastly, VoV Daily Fresh Mini Pack Wash Off Masks{haha, what a mouthful!}

I got turned on to these by the lovely Yumeko from Bitten Before
She has excellent taste in beauty products, plus her blog is a lot of fun and quite informative, check it out whenever you can!
I decided to first try the 17 Cereals one, which is suitable for all skin types/dry and delicate. This is applied on cleansed skin, left on for 15-20 minutes, then rinsed off with warm water. There was a slight tingling sensation when I first applied it, but apparently this is normal, so no worries there. The sensation was gone after a few seconds. Not much of a strong scent with this one, and my skin felt incredibly soft and supple after I washed it off. My skin felt this way well into the next day. I am very happy with these, and even though it is recommended that you use them three times a week, I think I'll just stick to once a week for now. Next time, I will try the Volcanic powder ones.
I got all of these items through Gmarket, except for the Sesame Mask, that I had to get through Ebay since none of the Gmarket sellers that had it were willing to ship internationally.
I hope this was helpful, have a great weekend everyone!
