HC Camp 2006

Well, as you know, I went back from HC camp yesterday. Initially, the few of us planned to just go back and take a look. But somehow, Shufang and Zirui got psycho-ed to stayover in school. Then they came to psycho me, Jane, Shuping and Nina. Hmm, it worked 'cause all of us just feel like staying over and reliving our HC camp days. Haha.
As seniors looking at our juniors training their juniors, it was a heartfelt thing - nostalgic and yet, proud. Really proud of our juniors - an outstanding bunch, they've grown so much! And proud of ourselves - a bunch with foresight, for choosing such a great team. :) Then again, we feel old. -.- Looking at the new batch, its good to see that our juniors finally understood how we felt when we were training them. One word - tough. However, we share the same sentiments, that the new batch is disappointing and FAR from HC standards. Sigh. Their attitude is the thing which needs lots of reminders. And NO, they can't talk back to their seniors, How dare they! You don't only think of yourself, you have to think of the whole team. Everyone is going through the same thing, how could you give up so easily and let the rest carry the burden which you're supposed to carry? So inconsiderate. If you give up on yourself, you would be dragging down your team who trusts you so much. Seriously, everyone can see clearly who's faking it and who's not.
Anyway, Shufang and I had a good long talk at 5am in the morning, when the rest fell asleep and she just woke up. Haha. Well, we gotta meet up sometime soon girl. =)
Hmm, actually I feel more comfortable in TJ but treasures Anglican times much more. Maybe its because AHS has changed so much over the years. Once again, it proved that time is not going to wait for anyone.
