Down by JJ Lin

I can't believe it Tell me I'm dreaming
That we are still "we"?

It was amazing Said you were lucky
That you found me

It was on a rainy day that we met
You didn't have a place to go
I said we just met so lets go slow but no
You just told me to keep you from the cold

Sorry I can't take it
Why did u fake it Why did we kiss

And I'm just down
You left me with a note without a sound
I figured I must have been such a child
You'll never know how much I've been around
How my heart just frowns

If you're down
I'll be your teddy bear, I'll be your clown
I'll take you round and round and
If you don't mind I could be your standing ground
Even if that means I'd drown

And baby, that'll be my one last vow

YoohoooOooo~ I'm back from JJ Party 2006! Hehe. I'm on high!! Because JunJie is way too charming. Gosh, I'm gonna sound like some fan girl ogling at a male artiste. Haha. Okay, I'll try not to sound like that.

Anyway, ShuFang, Ww, Jean and I went to the mini concert together. Lol. And damn, we regretted not coming earlier if not, we can sit near to JunYang!! Oh, JJ's also helping him with his album due in end May or June. So both my idols are working together! The best of both worlds.. =) If one day JieLun works with them, I will just collapsed out of excitement and happiness. Lol.

The mini concert wasn't really high, I guess many of them got free tickets from Singtel or Nokia. Sucks lah, because they didn't really come to support JJ. Boo. >.< Thus, we decided to boycott our section and run forward. However, after 1 song we got shoo-ed back. Wth. Shan't go through all the rubbish.

Oh, and we didn't know that JJ's gonna sign on the concert tickets. Only until the last song then we decided to go out and buy the tickets. But they only accept cash. So we walked from Hall 8 to Hall 2 for the stupid ATM. Yes, imagine the distance and the anxiety as it was already the last song! Bah.

Luckily, we made it back in time! Heh. When JJ's signing my ticket, he looked up and said 'Xie xie' sincerely while shaking my left hand. Awwww. I almost melted there and then. Really cute and charming. =)

2 more months to the concert. Ugh. Gonna be a long wait but it will be all worthwhile. ^^

Good Day.. :)

Hohoho.. I'm now an AEROSPACE ENGINEER~!

Anyway, I've came across this gay blog few weeks ago and I find it quite refreshing. I mean, its good to know about their views and feelings. To me, I've been quite receptive about such issues because I simply find it unbelievable. I can never ever love a girl. But to them, its something natural and I'm sure I won't want someone forcing me to like a girl, like how people expect gays to like girls. I guess there must be cases like these in the past but the society was too conservative then. If we're always talking about personal privacy, then I believe everyone has the freedom to love. And homosexuality is NOT a bad thing! Just that its something unnatural and new to us. Brokeback Mountain must have fuelled these somehow, lol. Coming back, I admire this couple for their courage and perseverance. ^^

My mum and I went to the Malaysia Travel Fair today and I think we did stupid things eg. queueing up to get onto the platinum coaches. LOL! But then again, some are really posh. WTS one has OSIM massage chairs and iSqueeze, but only if you pay 10bucks more. Enjoy Travel has a 16-seater which provides massage, tv entertainment and even food! Really sounds like SIA.. Only that this is in-bus entertainment. They should have karaoke, then all the tv and games can be scrapped. Lol.

Well, my mum and I are definitely going up to Genting in mid-May. Weeeeeeeee! I haven't been there for the longest of time.

We had dinner at the buffet restaurant near Kopitiam. It was average.. I strongly think that they should have raw salmon instead of smoked ones. Totally spoiled the taste. However, seafood and jap cuisine were fresh. Chinese food was good, especially kong4 ba4 bao1. Lol. They have chocolate fondue too but not the fountain. =( UOB card members have 15% off! Heh.

Off tto JJ Parteh tml!!

First thing first, I CAN'T STAND FLAMERS!

Especially those who choose to remain anonymous. Its like one wanting to say something bad yet deny saying it.

Anyway, I was reading Xiaxue's latest post and decided that I gotta blog this down finally. As usual, I was surfing through the comments and couldn't help but to close it with the click of a mouse. Ugh, I was cringing! I can't believe how shallow some Singaporeans are. Moreover, don't they feel bad about insulting others when the other party was simply express differing views to theirs? What makes them think that they can tick people off when they don't even know the other party personally? Why can't they be a tad more considerate? Maybe this is a way to vent their frustrations or something.

It is an undeniable fact that most Singaporeans are racist to a certain extent. We can't keep hushing it up just because we are a multi-racial country. It in no way solves the root of the problem because we're just running away from it. That's why people with extreme views should be warned and counselled. They must be extremely unlucky to have met so many black sheep of the other race. Seriously, SPGs must have been super unlucky too 'cause they didn't manage to meet any good-natured Singaporean guys in their whole lives.

Hmm, why can't people comment nicely? Why must they have vulgarities and hurting phrases all over the place just to drive their point through? Don't they think that its a bit too much? Would their conscience be clear?

To me, even reading what they commented is already so painful.

Commenting ain't wrong but can't you do it politely and leave out all those ugly names? >.<

Yoohoo! Anyone wanna go JJ Party with me? It'll be held at the Expo Hall 8 this coming sunday! Yay! But you can only get in with the ticket, which means you need to buy JJ's newest cd. Don't worry, his new songs are superb! =D

Hmm, I don't wanna miss JJ's concert this time round. I mean, how I regretted for missing JieLun's concert in 2004. Ugh. I don't want history to repeat itself! Even if it means I gonna scrimp and save for it, I will. Even if it means giving up Forever 21 tops, I will. Even if it means giving up yummy meals, I will. I will do anything just to have sufficient money to go for JJ's concert!

Okay lah. I'm not that broke yet. Lol!

Anyway, we went to Jean's house for mahjong and......

Bim bim bap!

So nice! Okay, the sauce was fabulous but our fried eggs were a huge disaster. =X Not supposed to let anyone else know about what a failure we were, but well gonna face reality eventually. Lol. Lets all go for cooking classes!! =)

I feel.. Wasted. Haha

Just came back from a late night movie again. -.-

Watched '16 Blocks' and you're warned.

Never spend $9.50 on it. I'm serious.

Its an average flick but I still can't find any reason to convince anyone to watch it. Yeah. Its best if you can watch it free or something. Heh. By what methods, I don't wanna say here. Lol.

And I'm warning you again...

Don't watch 16 Blocks.

Yayyyyy! =D

I love Forever 21! =D

But I didn't use to in the past. Heh. Recently, the clothes they have are adhering more and more to my liking. Well, its a good and bad thing altogether. Good is that I get to try on pretty clothes which fits me. Bad is that my pocket gonna has many holes again! Then again, retail therapy makes me very happy, so the benefits outweigh the costs. Heh heh. And so, I'm a very happy girl~

Thus Forever 21 became a shop that we girls need to patron every time we go out. =) Because we're pretty sure we'll find something suitable for us! I got myself a white denium a-little-below-knee-length pants! Damn nice. Its one of my favourite bottoms now. Hee. I'm so so so delighted that I found it eventually although it costs almost $60.

I love my new specs!!!

Hohoho.. Although I haven't get it yet. Just went PP to make it! So nice! Its white trim and has a smaller pair of lenses than what I have now. =D White makes me look brighter and somewhat different. So good, I like! Heh. Gonna get it next weekend~ Then I wanna take many photos with it. Hee. I'm a happy girl again !

Okay. Gotta go soon. Meeting the guys for movie at tamp. *yawn* I might just fall asleep inside. -.- Ciao~

You Know That....

April 13 [Thu], 2006, 12:37
(Been wanting to blog this for the longest of time and finally have the chance to sit down and think today..)

You know that you're happy when you can smile to yourself while thinking things through..
You know that you're sweet when you don't feel the bitterness anymore..
You know that you're safe when you feel peaceful..
You know that you're no longer painful when you don't feel the pain.. (okay, this is duh)
You know that you're no longer in pain when you can smile at the thought of him..
You know that you've let go when the happy memories stay and the sad ones go..
You know that you're happy when you can eventually let go.

=)

Yes, I'm happy now though I've appeared so for the past few months. Maybe I didn't realise that I've been truly happy for quite some time now. Well, its good to come clear with my feelings.

Since the day I've decided to give up, I told myself that I must not be sad, simply because its not worthwhile and I don't deserve it. They're words of encouragement and yet they're reminders of the past. Other than chiding myself for letting all these shite happpen to me, I promise myself to not get blinded by love again.

Oh, I have to clarify that he wasn't bad to me at all but I had my expectations of him though I told myself to forget about them. Its a subconcious kinda thing, will never go away I guess. Nevertheless, we had good times together. We, being such eaters, will go around looking for good food. Haha. They need not be expensive but they need to be yummy! So we've been to quite a lot of places. Those places bring back fond memories now.. =)

I know that I've put everything down. We're not really that compatible, are we? But still, its good to know another close friend.

I know what is it that I want now and more importantly, the person I need most. I hope you can find that someone someday.

I will be blessing you always.

New Job! HAH.

April 13 [Thu], 2006, 12:10
ONLY FOR TODAY lah.. Heh

Eeeeeek! Yaplog ate up my previous post!!! Seriously don't know where it disappeared to.. I thought I clicked 'Submit'? Or did I not?

Anyway, going on to my NEW JOB! Heh. Well, its not that bad actually and I might consider to give it an actual try in the future. Its fun talking to people, especially strangers who can't judge you by how well they know you (because they don't).. =) Its good to learn different methods of dealing with people, even those who are very cynical, critical and blah blah...

Aiye, I shall just unveil my new job to you.

I AM THE RECEPTIONIST!!!

Hohohoho~ Because the receptionist is on leave today and its kinda pointless to get the HR people to do the job for half a day, then go for the meeting at HQ. At the end of the day, there would be a point in time that I gotta take over. -.- So why not start early? That's what my boss had in mind I guess.

So I'm slacking here. And since this comp does not have Pivotal, I can't do my designated assignments! So I got nothing to do! Nothing concrete. So I gonna blog, blogsurf, blog, websurf, blogsurf, drink milo, websurf, blog, drink teh tarik, blogsurf, more blogsurf and the list goes on...

Well, actually I gotta pick up calls too. But most of the time, I'm transferring calls to my colleagues so I need not entertain anyone who tries to sell something to the company. Maybe I should just do what my eyecandy taught me: 'I'm not interested, We're not interested, I'm NOT interested!!' Then again, I'm in such a blardy good mood today, so I might just entertain a few. LOL. Eh, you can call the main line to look for me but remember, the hotline is only opened from 9am to 5pm. =)

Okay, I shall go on to more serious stuff after this. Heh. Maybe I should play typershark! Lets see if this comp supports java. Lol. What a Happy Day!

I shall go be a friendly receptionist for now~ Ciao!

Bakerzin :)

April 10 [Mon], 2006, 9:32
Went to Bakerzin - One Fullerton for dinner last night, hoping that there would be less people having dinner there too. Well, I didn't know what I was thinking then, walked all the way there from City Hall when its so near to Raffles Place. -.- *blur*

Anyway, the world is really too coincidental when you can meet someone you know in a restaurant located at such a funny place. Haha. Met Fellu with her 2 friends - Anna & Siying, sitting around and catching up with each other with only drinks on their bill. Tsk tsk. Well, we initially thought of sitting outdoors but the air was humid and hot. The air-conditioned indoor is much more inviting though the former would give a little more privacy.

We had pesto linguine with pork escalopes and seafood pasta for main courses, passion fruit soda and ice lime mint for drinks. The pork escalopes were nothing special, tasted and looked like pork chops. Haha. But the pesto linguine was heavenly! Though the portion was way too small. Heh. I guess that was my first dinner of the week or something. Seafood pasta was filled with shells of clams, crayfish, prawns and mussels. Haha. Looks sumptous but serving wasn't that big. Somehow the drinks made us quite full so desserts became a light affair.

We chose 3 tapas out of 14 selections, namely strawberry fondue, hot chocolate with vanilla ice-cream and caramel panna cotta. Really a nice ending to dinner. Strawberry fondue was sour yet sweet, hot chocolate was paradise together with the ice-cream - a hot and cold mix, caramel panna cotta brought surprises - sweet yet bitter, together with the milk pudding, it was a perfect combination.

Its really a pity not to have tried their cakes though, there was no space for them after everything. Well, I'll make sure I try it the next time! Maybe I'll just go there for their cakes and pastries. Heh.

All in all, a dinner well spent~ =) Everything added up to around $56. This is what I call fine dining and fine company.
