I was thinking DOA, but from what I've observed, the people in there are too nice (haha) and it's too censored for my tastes. I want the freedom to say, "tittyfuckshitdammit" without getting banned.

I'm not expecting to find the perfect community any time soon. Come to think of it, I can do without one. But it would be nice to fit in a place that suits me most - yeah?

Been a hectic couple of days.

- School has been, an experience.

- It won't be long until I'll be meeting my boyfriend's parents, together, for the first time. Somehow I wish I could share his excitement. I'm a little afraid to find out what his father's like.

- In the past week I've been grabbed not once, but twice by young, amateurish street ganglings looking for trouble. Ha. It's not rape time unless I say so, fuckers.

- And I miss neeth terribly.

But ah. Glad to be camping at my parents' again.

I don't mix well with shy people.

And I don't mean the moderate, rational shy bunch - no no no. I mean the incredibly anxious, insecure, party-pooper types whose only excuse for their behavior is the premise that no one will like them because they're - and it's troubling for me to say this but - different!

Which brings me back to someone I once knew, who'd constantly whine about how she could never get herself to open up to whichever guy she's crushing on; and then becomes this emotionally self-destructive void at the discovery that he's already taken. After how long? - months of her speculating, wishing, and hoping.

Haha. Wow. Talking about it now makes it sound so elementary. And it is!

I'm sort of in the same situation all over again, but this time I've made my stances known because this person wasn't looking for change, but pity, and that's comfort I can't offer to those who don't try.

This all correlates to one of those great quotes you may find in a fortune cookie: It's better to regret something you've done than something you haven't done.

It isn't anyone's fault that you've let an opportunity pass you by because you're shy; nor is it anyone's obligation to feel sympathetic for you when you've made very little, to no attempt in opening up and getting the recognition you so desire.

How do you expect people to like you if you won't give them a chance to get to know you?

Just how difficult is it to walk up to someone and say the prominently verbal, whorish: Hi?

Finally got myself to purchase FFXII.

Bought the collector's edition [used]. The guy who sold it to me was such a sweetheart. He knocked down the price for me after tax, so I didn't get charged as much as I originally thought.

Sis wanted to be the first to play, so I was on the sidelines.

Still confused about a whole lot, because all the narrative dialogue in the beginning of the game triggered whatever potential ADD symptoms I seem to have.

But despite that I managed to take some memories with me; all of which were golden in a sense that they were fun to taint with my twisted sense of humor.

Most notably the introduction of Ashe and her husband, who in turn comes off as quite the flaming homosexual. Mmm, but red lipstick is rather sexy, don't you think? Should I? Yes. Maybe I should...

I didn't find Ashe's "love" for him all that convincing, by the way. Makes you wonder what sort of events might've led to that sham of a wedding.

But boo. It's a shame that he died so early in the game. I was expecting some more concrete gay undertones with this guy.

I suppose that means no fanfiction for the lad...

Oh! And to spoil our fun, my PS2 took a shit on us. So during a transition the game froze after a good hour and a half of play.

I think it's dead for good, but ah well.

One of these days, I'll convince myself to purchase a second PS2 console.

Haha, I fail.
This. After over a year of losing my art-libido. So much for attempting realism.

I had such a huge obsession with Yuna and Tidus that my previous alias was all in relation to the finale of FFX, which by the way brought some poor misconceptions about my personality; but for reasons I can't say, I wanted to somehow reconnect with that stage in my life by attempting to do a Yuna portrait outside my 2D comfort zone.

I wanted to go all the way with this, but in doing so, coloring stopped being fun.

Whatever.

No point to art if you're not enjoying yourself.

Since her father didn't have the courtesy (nor the time?) to make her day special, Sis and I decided to surprise our cousin on her birthday with cake, pizza, music, and camwhoring.

Sis objected to buying a cake since she's...the least favorite cousin in the family haha, but I felt bad enough to go out of my way to convince her to buy one.

I swear, none of my other cousins like her, and they have reason not to ('cause she's a fuckin' uptight, man-hating, gay-bashing/judgmental bitch!) - but let's not go there right now.

Because it's her birthday, and everyone deserves to be happy on their birthday.

And holy shit, I must own one of the longest running PS2s in the history of PS2s. Had mine since November 2000.

Annnd too lazy to talk about HYD 2. The premiere was like a fuckin' two-hour movie.

Not a bad one though, but that doesn't mean it was all that great either. So to laugh at its ridiculousness

And oh my god, those NY "thugs" and Domyoji's "bodyguards" were SO uncalled for! What were they thinking?! Hahaha - larf.

Though I'd give anything to see Makino get socked with a basketball again. Girl deserves it for being so damn persistent about a guy who can give two shits about her.

7. No one eats at Miss Mamie's just for their cornbread, right Mr. Clinton guys?

8. Fifth Avenue is of no interest to people with black cards, but SoHo is.

And finally, my biggest revelation of them all:

It's time that I took a moment to see the Statue of Liberty upclose, and witness its magical greatness for myself. And I suspect that tourists are the key to unraveling whatever it may be.
