James would leave him three short

LeBron James is not just good: he is Herve Leger Pas Cher considered to be the best to ever play the game of basketball by some analysts and scouts. While most do not agree with that, there is not one expert who has him outside of the top 3 basketball players in the history of the game, in company with Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. LeBron has brought to the NBA something that has never been seen before: an elite combination of strength, size, and speed. With the strength of what some analysts claim to feel like a "600 pound steamroller coming right at you," the speed to star on a great track team, and the size to bully anyone on the court, LeBron was seen as the heir, if not better, to Michael Jordan.

A second consecutive title for James would leave him three short of the Lakers legend (though only one short at the same point in their careers), and obviously James is lacking in the longevity department, having played seven fewer NBA seasons Herve Leger France than his counterpart. The bottom line is that over Kobe's career, many players have come and gone who were once picked to be better than Kobe: Vince Carter, Allen Iverson, Grant Hill, Steve Nash, Ray Allen (so much so that he was chosen to play for Team USA over Kobe), Kevin Garnett, Carmelo Anthony, Paul Pierce, Reggie Miller, Dwyane Wade, Manu Ginobili, Tracy McGrady, etc. Yet, at the present day and time, no sane person would say any of those players were/are better than Kobe. At the various times, all the pundits like Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless would make constant arguments, "This player is better than Kobe, that player is better than Kobe", but time is the true test.

Second, people forget wigqubzioe Lebron is a 10 year guy. If he plays the projected 1516 seasons(generous for a highly physical player in a running position) then he only has 5 more good years left before he is 34 and in his twilight 1516th year.
