Internet shopping

2008年01月31日(木) 21時19分
Recently, Ilike shopping on internet.
I've bought Shyochu(Japanese alcohol), stationery,
cosmetics, underwear, clothes and so on.
The price is cheeper than a shop sometimes.
I use RAKUTEN site usually.
http://www.rakuten.co.jp/
Only putting the name of an item into a space and click,
I can check many different tupes of the item whilst at home.
If I use "WINDOW SHOPPING MODE", I can see only the pictures
without the sentences for the explanation.
After the order, I like to wait for the arrival of the item.
It's like a present from someone!

Meanwhile, I have to be careful not to buy too much!
It's very addictive...

New cellular phone

2008年01月23日(水) 22時04分

I bought new cellular phone the other day.
It's a latest product by TOSHIBA from SoftBank.

http://mb.softbank.jp/mb/product/3G/920t/

There are four variations of the color,
gold, white, brown, and pink.
I was really not sure which one I wanted,
but finally, I chose brown.

I can take hi-quality photos, watch TV
and listen to music with this phone.
Also I can enjoy the internet.
Of course, I can mail and talk on the phone!!

But, I'm not sure how to use it...
Out of the blue, I couldn't watch TV,
but I don't know why!!!
The instruction book is thick and difficult...
After all, I use it for mail and telephone now...
Unsed tresure is a wasted treasure.

New Year's resolution

2008年01月22日(火) 20時45分
This is the first blog in this year!
I'd like to write about my resolution.

My new year's resolution is "continuance".

Last year, I gave up my job in March.
After that, I went to Australia for one month by my self.
I made many foreign friends.
I want to keep in touch with them.

After coming back from Australia,
I started to have English lesson.
I want to keep studying English this year also.
Of course, I want to keep uploading this blog!

From Nov., I started new job.
Now, I'm very busy and confused
because everything is new,
but I want to keep working.

I met many new people, tried many new things.
My last year was "change".
In this year, I want to continue to develope
the new thing I tried last year.

OOMISOKA

2007年12月31日(月) 17時27分
Today is New Year's Eve.
We call it "OOMISOKA".

I visited family graves in the morning
and after that, did the year-end cleaning.
I sent NENGAJYO yeasterday,
they wouldn't be delivered on
the New Year's day

I'll have dinner with my family.
Today's menu is Nabe!
(Not Neko-Nabe!)
I like Nabe very much because
it makes me hot and suits beer!

Japanese have a custom to eat Soba
at about 11:00pm in New Year's Eve.
We call it "TOSHIKOSHI-SOBA".
Soba is long and thin.
So we hope our long, frugal and
happy life by eating it.

After eating it, I'll go to HATSUMOUDE.
HATSUMOUDE means New Year's visit to Japnese shrine.
Trains run all through the night in paticular
because today is New Year's Eve.
It's very cold today.
I should wear a lot of clothes!!

Thank you for your visiting this blog in this year.
Also, please visit next year!

YABAFO

2007年12月31日(月) 17時24分
In downtown Osaka, Namba,
there is this building with an attraction.

It looks strange
because the centre of it is Free fall.
The name is YABAFO.
The height is 60m and
the highest point is 75m from the ground.
The gondola is six-seater and
falls down at speeds of 22m per second.
In the building, there is
PACHINKO & SLOT, Game centre
and restaurants etc.

YABAFO http://www.yabafo.com/about.html

I hate thrill ride very much,
so I absolutely won't ride it
But I want to watch someone who I know riding it.
If you try it, please tell me.
I'll go with you and only watch from the ground!

NENGAJYO

2007年12月25日(火) 22時07分
Nengajyo means New year's card.
New year's card is popular than X'mas card in Japan.
Most of people design the card using Chinese zodiac animal symbols.
Next year's sign is mouse.
As for my self, I don't use the animal.
usually I design it by a picture which I took during the year.
This year, I'll use a picture taken in Australia!
Every year I send the card to about twenty people.
But there are people who send more than 100 cards!

The making of New year's card is tiresome sometimes
(Of course, it's fun sometimes!)
The card should be received on the New Year's day.
For that, we should send all of them by X'mas,
or at latest by 12/28.
But usually we start to prepare it close to the end of the year...!
Every end of the year, I'm busy making the card!!!

By the way, according to Japanese tradition,
each year reflects the character of the animals.
Next year, the rate of birth may increase in Japan
because mouse has many children!

Nara

2007年12月09日(日) 12時29分
I went to Nara becasue a Chagall exhibition
was being held in Nara.
Nara is an ancient capital like Kyoto.
The venue wasn't busy becasue
We arrived there at around 10:00am.
We enjoyed looking the paintings.
I discovered that Chagall was handsome!

After leaving the exhibition,
we went to Todai temple.
We saw the beautiful colored leaves in the garden.

Also, in the garden there are many Japanese deers.
We can feed them crackers. The crackers smell very good.
But you shouldn't eat them!! They taste disgusting!

Japanese deers in Todai temple
are famous.
So many kinds of Japanese deer
motif souvenir are sold.

For the lunch,
we ate a lunch box of Cha-meshi.
Cha means Japanese tea
and Meshi means rice.
Cha-meshi is the rice cooked
with Japanese tea.

While I was eating
I could smell the aroma of Japanese tea.
I liked it

It was very fine day, so we ate the lunch box outside.
I was happy to be able to photosynthesize!

BASPAS

2007年12月05日(水) 22時43分

BASPAS is a body oil which can be used in the bath.
It's a new product by ROHTO.
http://www.rohto.co.jp/baspas/index.htm
I saw the CM and was interested in it.
This oil can be used on your wet body. I think that's very useful!
There is two kinds of BASPAS, one of them is fragrance-free,
and another one is refresh aroma.
Although I couldn't make up my mind which one to buy,
but in the end, I decided to buy refresh aroma one.
I used it in the bath today. It seems good!
I use it everyday, and hope to get beautiful moisturised skin

GOUKON

2007年11月26日(月) 23時20分
The other day, I attended a GOUKON.
GOUKON means matchmaking party.

One morning, out of the blue, my co-worker asked me
to go to the GOUKON,
because one person dropped out at the last minute.
I knew I shouldn't attend the party because I have a boyfriend.
But I wanted to get to know my co-workers better,
so I attended.

There were five women which they are all my co-workers,
also there were five men who all work at a company
that we work with.
One of the woman knew one of the man,
but it was the first time for the others to meet.
The party was held in a restaurant, TORIHIME.
http://www.torihime.com/contents/shop/03-k-shinchi/index.html

At first, we introduced our selves, after that,
we talked while eating and drinking.
At the end of the party, some people traded their
mail adress or tell number. I didn't do that!
I hoped the men would treat us, but we had to pay 5,000yen each.

Unfortunately, I missed the last train!
I got a train off at my boyfriend's closest station,
and asked him to take me home in his car.
He came for me kindly.
I felt bad becasue I hadn't told him about the party...
I'm sorry...darling...

But I did get to know my co-workers well, and
enjoyed talking with new people!

Flea market

2007年11月26日(月) 20時04分
Last weekend, my mother and me went to a car boot sale.
We had a stall and sold many things.

We went to the venue
early in the morning and prepared
our booth. The flea market started
from 9:00am. We enjoyed talking
with customers,
and of course, we sold our items.

Also, we did our shopping in turn.
Although I didn't buy anything,
I enjoyed it.

In the venue, there are a stalls selling vegetables,
fishing balloon game, and sweets.

At 3:00pm, the flea market finished.
We cleared up, and went back home.

That was very hard work but we enjoyed very much.
Also we earned 15,000yen!
