☆長野なみあいキャンプ☆

July 6, Today, we all went to the temple for meditation and to pray. It was relieving to pray for our ancestors　and meditate. Then we ate Japanese sweets and tea as a treat.
今日お寺に行きました。お経を読んで、ご先祖様にお祈りをしました。それから座禅を組みました。気持ちが落ち着きました。和尚さんに和菓子とお茶を頂きました。




In the afternoon, we all, including the center, drove to the big field near our camp to play baseball. We were separated in to two classes, the people that played baseball and the people that didn't. For the people that played baseball, the score was 3-0. The other classes' score was 19-19. The whole baseball game was very fun and exhilarating.
午後はセンターの子と大きなフィールドで野球をしました。着いてから、野球をした事のある人とない人に分かれました。やったことのある人のクラスの試合は３−０でした。違うクラスの試合は１９−１９でした。とてもおもしろかったです。

7月5日、今日僕達は昼ごはんに豚汁を作りました。僕達は最初に色んな切り方を学びました。豚汁を作る時にたくさん使った切 り方はいちょう切りでした。作るのは大変でしたが自分で作った豚汁はおいしかったです。豚汁のほかにもおにぎりを作りました。
Today we made pork stew for lunch. We first learned how to slice/cut in a lot way. When we made the pork stew, we used the Ginko slice a lot. It was hard to make but when we ate, it tasted good. Other thing we made and ate was rice ball.



その後バトミントンで遊びました。みんなでトーナメント戦をしました。まず第1回戦はアレックス君が優勝しました。第2回戦は健太郎君が勝ちました。みんな元気に遊んでいました。
After that, we played badminton. We all played in a tornament. In the first round, Alex won. In the second round, Kentaro won. Everyone had fun.

今日はハイキングで色々な場所に行きました。神社に行って神様にお祈りをしたり、周りの景色を見たりしました。でも、神社にたどり着くまでには何百歩もの階段をのぼらなければいけませんでした。着いた時にはみんなゼーゼーハーハーいっていました。
We went hiking and went many places. We went to a shrine. We prayed to the gods and looked at the things around us.But before we had all got there, we had to walk up loads of stairs! Once everyone got there, you woud see everyone huffing and puffing.


帰ってきたら、今度は五平餅を作りました。もち米と、胡桃としょうゆと砂糖だけでできたソースで、囲炉裏で作りました。作り終わってみんなで食べました。素晴らしくおいしかったです！！
After we came back ,we started making rice cakes. We made rice cakes with rice and sauce made of walnuts, soysauce, and sugar, and we used the fireplace. After we fnished making them, we ate them. They tasted fantastic!

今日はオリジナル楽器を作りました。牛乳パックと輪ゴムを使ってギターを作ったり、コップと水でザイラフォンを作ったりしました。その楽器を使って、今度みんなで演奏する予定です。

Today we made original instruments. We used a milk carton and rubber bands to
make a guitar, and used cups and water to make a xylophone.We are planning to
perform using our instruments.



その後、散歩にいきました。体験入学する浪合小学校まで歩きました。途中で死にそうな蛇を見つけました。背中は白くてお腹が赤い蛇でした。

After that we went out for a walk. We walked to the Namiai elementary school.
On the way, we found a SNAKE. The back was white, and the stomach was red. It was almost dead and in the middle of the road.

７月１日、浪合村通年合宿センターの友達が歓迎会に招待してくれました。ほうの葉にのせたうなぎのちらし寿司を食べました。
July 1st 2006, the Center invited us for a welcome party for dinner. We ate eel sushi on a leaf.


７月２日、いちいの木でお箸を作りました。いちいの木は神様の木と呼ばれています。木と木をこすって磨きました。こすればこするほどピカピカになります。　
July 2nd 2006, we made chopsticks out of yew tree.Yew tree is called God tree. Chopsticks get more smooth and shiny by yew tree.

長野なみあいキャンプがいよいよ今年も7月1日からスタートです。

「築地市場」
今年はプレキャンプとして３０日に東京で午前中に築地市場を見学しました。
特別な車に乗って市場の中を探検させてもらいました。



「体験マイナス４０度」
活きのいい魚や大きなかれいを見たり、特別にマイナス40度の冷凍庫の中に
入れてもらい、呼吸が苦しいくらいの凍える！！経験もしました。
２分と中にいられませんでした。



「走れ！！」
午後から地元の小学生とキックベースをしました。
「３塁！３塁！３塁に走れ！！」みんな夢中になって叫んでいる顔をごらん下さい。





「カレーdeディナー」
その後、スーパーに各グループ１０００円の予算でカレーの材料をさがしに行きました。
３種類のカレーができました。　
１つは「スープカレー」、　そして「ドロドロカレー」、それに「超激辛カレー」！！でした。
ゲームをしてその晩みんなでとまりました。


コンピュータが作動せず発信が遅れてしまいました。ようやく再開できました。
それでは明日から、キャンパーによる日英２言語での発信が始まります。お楽しみに！！
