A jury in the western American state of California has found musician Michael Jackson not guilty of sex acts with children. The jury announced the decision after seven days of discussions. The trial lasted for three and a half months. The jury found Mr. Jackson not guilty of giving alcohol to a thirteen-year-old boy and then attempting sex acts with him. The jury also found Mr. Jackson not guilty of holding the boy's family at his large home. Government lawyers said Mr. Jackson had a history of sexual wrongdoing with young boys. The musician and performer denied the charges.
