Two new iPhones, Retina iPad mini and mo

iPhone 5Apple () will launch more than a dozen new and refreshed products in 2013 according to a recent report, but thewill not be among them. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a solid track record when reporting details surrounding unannouncedproducts, believes Apple has an impressive product roadmap in place for 2013. Included in his predictions are two newmodels, anwith a Retina display, a refreshedand several newcomputers.

In a research note , Ming-Chi outlined a 2013 roadmap that lines up with a number of earlier reports.

The biggest news is likely that the analyst is an agreement with earlier reports that pointed toof Apples next-generation handset withwith an MSRP between $350 and $450to follow. He sees the iPhone 5S launching in June or July this year, and he says the new entry-level model will likely resemble the currentbut it will feature a thicker design and a plastic case available in six different colors.

Other key launches include a slightly tweaked Apple TV in the first quarter; a refreshedAir in the second quarter; a slimmer full-size iPad and a Retina iPad mini in the third quarter alongside a redesigned Retina MacBook Pro, a newand a refreshed iPod nano; and newand Mac minis in the fourth quarter this year.
