The first time to go to the Sakanaction's concert.
Their performance was perfect and I could feel their love for the fans.
Though the stage was huge and couldn't see them properly,
I felt them quite close because of those good performance.
I was really happy to hear their message saying
'We want to keep trying and finding the new music!'
And I was impressed by Ichiro's comment saying
'I feel we are just normal people and want to be the same as you guys because
we believe we can create nice music out of those majority's opinion and feeling.'
Their sound was very clean and united.
The lighting, screen, and sound system was soooo good.
This is one of the best thing to go and listen in big hall.
I could enjoy very much and excited.
One of the most funny scene was when 'the dolls in a row' appeared on the stage
while they are playing 'バッハの旋律を夜に聴いたせいです。'.
Loved to see Yamaguchi Loved to see their nice cheam-work
I want the DVD collection, which will be on sale on my birthday lol
By the way, these drawings are the art works that I created before the graduation.
There was a brief of competition about visualising the tunes from my favorite bands.
So I choose Sakanaction's 'Light Dance' and 'Eye-opening Indigo.
I think I haven't uploaded these works properly on this blog so I presented on here today with the comments about their first concert for me ;)
This made me want to draw something again, Thank you.
For now, I will end for today by putting my favorite songs which they played
as the encore: ネイティブダンサー & 三日月サンセット.
Erm.. still practising photoshop.
I don't know it is good or bad for me to be able to realise the mistakes right after I finish works.
I went to see exhibition on Wednesday.
This is the one I wanted to go since I found the leaflet at the gallery of Yokohama Triennial.
There are the works done by 3 young artists based in New York.
It was quite good than I expected, actually I loved it.
Especially the works by Kazue Taguchi were interesting to see the fantastic sight
which is made by reflections of metallic tapes, mirrors and so on.
The silver tapes were bounded like a bow in a row hanged from the ceiling.
And there were beautiful movement of reflection of those tapes which got a spot light from the top.
It was really nice layout to make those works looks in its best way in that space.
More to that, they encouraged us to take pictures.
This exhibition lasts till 16th of next month.
If you are in Yokohama, or interested in this kind of art, I recommend you to come.
It seems like there's quite a lot of exhibitions going on including Yokohama Triennial.
I wanna try to visit those before it's gone.
The best way to show what you've learned in the field that you studied
is to show your works.
But I guess that sounds more what artist do, rather than designer.
Because it is selling you, not selling your brain
The personal works that I created apart from uni's project.
The reason why most of the works in the portfolio is occupied by these is
because it has reached to the level of good quality.
And because the project I have done in Uni is showing 'HOW you got the results'
rather than 'WHAT you made and HOW GOOD does it look'.
Those works need the explanation and it is hard to tell what that work is for at once.
The amount of works that you should show is depending on the kind of company.
There's no way showing hand-made works to the web design company.
Come to think of it, this weekend will be the first time to see people
from Design agency which is the best choice for me to be hired.
The time for Private and work should be separated
like I used to make personal works when I have time.
But I want to create something I really want to.
But maybe I should start searching for the Foreign affiliate company when the time comes.
So I think this way over and over...
By the way, I like using Ballerina as a motif within the collage work.
The beauty of dancing people.
