Maybe it's really goodbye to you.

May 31 [Tue], 2011, 8:33
Hello Everyone,
This may be my last ever post on here. For the past four years I have kept this blog close to my heart. No matter where I went I would always come back here to blog. However, my life has changed so much lately, and it's about time I let this go. If I dare to look back on my old entries, I know I'll just break down and cry because they're so precious and beautiful. I have so much growing up to do, and the first step is to LET GO. Thank you for the memories yaplog. To LOVELYAIKOCHAN, you are my baby, and maybe when I have enough courage, I will be able to come here with a smile. To my VIEWERS/FOLLOWERS/YAPME, thank you so much for visiting this blog! I'm really happy to have you in my life. Thank you for being there for me Yaplog.

Food lovin ( ̄▽ ̄)~~

Fried Tofu

Petites @ Starbucks

Red Velvet Cake"Macaroon"

Cookie Monster cake!

This is just a quick little food entry. Not too worry, as cute as all of that was I only had the tofu and red velvet "macaroon." I believe Starbucks got the idea from the infamous baking blogger,
The verdict on it.. NOT WORTH BUYING. I honestly can make a better frosting than that. Also the price was est. $2USD :/ People are better buying a box of cake mix for the same price!(Though, I prefer making my baked goods from scratch.) So, please get the bang for your buck, make your own cake "macaroons!" I'll try to make a tutorial on it.(^∇^)

Oho, lately I've been into exercising again. I need to tone up before my trip to... HAWAII~~~ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ GRR, the only thing is, my second semester of college is almost up and I'm being bombarded with papers and tests! WTF! I have a test in math, the week before the exam. ;-; That means no review day. I literally hate that professor now. I had him for last semester, and he wasn't too bad, but now he's just an unreasonable prick. UGH, I must resist binge eating and focus on studying! Hopefully everyone is well!

See you later~!!! (^O^☆♪

Easter Sunday~~ (^人^)

April 25 [Mon], 2011, 21:38

Hello Everyone, (^з^)-☆
How was your Easter weekend!? I spent it up in North Las Vegas, hence the photo! North Las Vegas isn't the safest or even most beautiful part of the city, but it's where I started out. It has a special place in my heart. My mom had to take care of something so while my brother and I waited for her, I decided to take a drive down to our old elementary school! My brother flipped out because our school isn't in a particularly safe neighborhood and we were driving with the windows down.♪(´ε` )

Well, even when we reached our old school, my brother was still freaking out because he couldn't recognize the area we were in. Most of it could be because there were many cars blocking the school view and he was only 6 when he attended that school. One thing, however, sparked his memory! There was a tiny farm right next to the school's field. Peacocks, chickens, and other bird oriented animals would hop the fence of the farm and roam the field.(⌒-⌒; ) I can't believe most of the animals are still there! I would have taken a photo of the farm, but I was afraid the owner would get upset and I had to pick up my mom. Hopefully, I can take one next time I'm up north.

After our little adventure in our old neighborhood, my mom took us to "Baby Cakes!" I had my doubts about it, but it was worth the wait! Although, the wait was about an hour long.(;_;)It's a tiny little breakfast joint up north and is always bustling with people! During the wait period, I was amazed with their customer service~!

Ohohoho this is why it was worth the wait... RED VELVET PANCAKES~! (((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))! These were supremely delicious! I was so sorry to have doubted them! OMG, they were so soft and fluffy! I cannot wait for the next time I'll get to eat there! (^з^)~~~

See you later~~~!!!

DIY Fringed Crop Top

April 24 [Sun], 2011, 6:15

Visit my blogspot for this DIY look!

*EDIT* lol, decided to post it here anyways...

What's up everyone?!
I have come back with a video! I have always been into boat neck tops, but recently I became fond of some things I would never pick up before... crop tops & fringe! I used to think fringe was too gaudy and flapper/hippie-like, but somehow I've become open to such a thing. Then there's the ordeal of crop tops... You can be frowned upon for wearing one, but I believe as long as you're carrying a modest attitude, there's no reason for those disapproving eyes. LOL, I get such looks quite frequently, but I know who I am and what values I hold for myself. ~~~ So here's my video!

[*WARNING: You may want to lower/mute your audio. KPOP plays throughout the video ^^;;]

[Sorry, for the LQ of the video. My original video was 1.3Gig, but that would have taken 8 hours to upload to youtube! Unfortunately, I had to compress it to about 70MB for a reasonable upload time.]

1) Gather materials: 1 oversized tee that you would like to reform & a pair of fabric scissors. (Regular scissors will work too, but it'll be a little more difficult to cut with since the blades may have been dulled.)

2) If you would like to a how to on creating the boat neck effect, visit Tori's blog! ^^<33 Otherwise, fold your tee in half and sure the edges are neatly aligned. I already have a particular length that I like in crop tops, so I used my old kitson tee as a reference. But to give you an idea as to how much I cut off, it was about 5" and at this length it is an inch past my navel.

3) Once you reached your desired length, cut straight across the bottom of the shirt.

4) Unfold your shirt and lay it flat, this is where we will begin to make our fringes! Make your first cut at the side of the tee. Then work your way in. You will want the length of the fringe to be about 3" or more and the width of the fringe to be 1/2 an inch or less. For this first attempt I decided with 3"-high and 1/2"-wide

5) When you have completed the cutting around the shirt, pull at the fringes. Add some strength, as you will want these fringes to be skinnier rather than wide! Do this for each fringe.

6. Give the tee a little shake and you're done!

This was really fun and easy to make! Early in the video you see an already cut out top, I learned how to make this via TORI~! I suggest leaving more shoulder space though! I don't know if it's just me, but I can't keep my top up so I'll usually have a long racer back tank underneath if I've cut too much off the shoulder. LOL, earlier I showed the finished product to my mom and she said "That's so 80's! Are you going to do the sleeves as well?" AH, as much as I like fringe now, I think that doing the sleeves would be too much. What do you guys think? I'll be going out today and I predict that I will be buying some oversized tees to use my new DIY skills on!

[If any of you have questions feel free to ask & I'll do my best to answer them!]

See you later~!

"Don't Cry" - Park Bom

April 22 [Fri], 2011, 13:14

So here's a little something I've been listening to for the past few days. I absolutely love Park Bom, but even more, the enitre YG FAMILY! They are really a group of talented musicians. They are not made up of particularly pretty people, nor should they claim themselves to be idols. They are true artists in the music industry!

Hopefully, some of you will enjoy this song~

Campus & Life Σ( ̄。 ̄ノ)ノ

April 21 [Thu], 2011, 18:04

Hello Everyone~!
As some of you may know, I decided to take up home gardening.(^人^)I was at Sam's Club last night and my mom & I stumbled across gardenias! Their fragrance is really beautiful. They may look like roses, but are far from smelling like one! Agh, coming across these flowers only make me more excited to go back to my hometown, HAWAII! ♪───O(≧∇≦)O────♪ Woot Woot~

I realized that I've rarely spoken about my college life. So, here is a photo I took on my way to class. I swear it's more beautiful in real life! the weather is always so much more pleasant in fertile areas for some odd reason, but hey, I live in Vegas and I should appreciate it as much as I can!

I like to park farther away from my classroom building, weird huh? Well, most of the time people love to steal parking spaces you're already signaling for and another portion of the time, there rarely is parking available next to your desired destination! I decided to stop fighting for parking spaces and park further just to get a little exercise. (lol, don't worry it's not such a wussy exercise, the campus is big!)

I also have a habit of taking the stairs. Those things are monstrous for a person like me! Short and out of shape... ( ̄(工) ̄) LOL, I'm also afraid of taking elevators, so when given the opportunity, I'll usually take the stairs wherever I go. The funny thing is, I have to walk up three flights of stairs to get to my Philosophy class and I'm usually barely on time. So, when I walk through the hall and enter the classroom I am supremely out of breath! I feel embarrassed, but at least it's somewhat good for my health!

This is something that was written in one of the restroom stalls. Funny because of the location, but it's kind of inspiring don't you think? It gives us college students a sense of humor and encourages us to keep going.

Hopefully you all are well!
See you later~!

p.s. BE HAPPY! ?

Driving Up The Strip ~ (⌒-⌒; )

April 20 [Wed], 2011, 2:20

Blogging once again from my iPhone. Seriously, it's addicting, if anyone has instagram let me know! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ Anyways before I go on to my real topic... PLEASE DO NOT TAKE PHOTOS WHILE DRIVING! It's dangerous!

Now that I've put out my little disclaimer you all know that I did indeed take those photos while driving. Not safe, but it was really beautiful today! If any of you know me IRL you'll know I hate having the windows down in a car! but the weather was so nice, having a slight breeze passing through my car was really nice during my short cruise.

I after my afternoon math class ended, I decided to kill time in the shops on the strip. Though, I feel that my trip to Urban Outfitters was a total waste, and I should have bought my items last night! when I finally got home, I was ready to checkout the items in my wishlist, but the last XS was SOLD! Σ(゚д゚lll)!!! UGH, I was so upset!

It totally gave a "MURUA - Momoko Ogihara" feel. If any of you follow my tumblr or twitter, you'll know I have been totally obsessed with her.σ(^_^;) I'm still a little upset, buy it's all good, I bought some Mary Jane pumps that are quite similar to the swallow/sparrow pumps that Miu Miu carries. It's a size 6, which is too big for me, but I'll manage! I've been searching for that style for so long!

BLAHHH, it's 2:18AM and I have to leave my house at 6:30 AM to take my car to Toyota for maintenance... I should try to sleep now...

Goodnight everyone.
See you later~! (^_?)?☆

House Plants (^O^☆♪

April 19 [Tue], 2011, 21:07

I recently bought an umbrella tree along with another parlor palm. Unfortunately, my other parlor palm is literally on it's last limb! But give me some credit! I've had it for almost 4 years now without replacing it's soil might I add! haha I promise to take better care of these plants~~~ (`_´)ゞ

The only reason as to why I took up home gardening is because I'm without a job for a month. I won't be studying all the time, so a hobby will be good for me! I've recently took up jogging again and it feels great. Though I prefer jogging in the comfort of my own home in a controlled environment. ♪(´ε` ) I hate being out in nature and my community has a gym, but I don't know how to use the equipment... oh well, I'll learn someday~~ ヽ( ̄д ̄;)ノ=

See you later~!

Instagram app

April 17 [Sun], 2011, 22:31

As of late, I've been using the instagram app on my iPhone. In the near future, I'll probably make this blog a photo/iPhone blog. still deciding~~~

BTW, that's part of my outfit from today.(^O^☆♪ I've been into eyelet crop tops, gold accessories, and high waisted shorts. Unfortunately, I had to take a temporarily leave of absence from my job and I won't ave any money to feed my fashion addiction. thankfully it'll only be for a month!

Anyways, I hope everyone is well!(^O^☆♪
See you later~!
