WHAT IS GOTHIC & LOLITA?
*Popularized by Jrock lolita Mana from the now disbanded Malice Mizer, Lolita was actually taken from the European fashion movement during the Victorian Era. Modern Lolita, however, takes this Victorian style and made it appear as a cute fashion statement or gothic. Today the Lolita style is very well known among fans in and outside of Japan.

Elegant Gothic Lolita
Classical/Country/Sweet Lolita
Industrial/(PUNK) Lolita

++Here is the almighty list:
-Otarori (Otaku Lolitas. Black and white clothing. Influenced by Manga-Ka and Mr. Mana; they are not considered Lolita by the real Lolitas, because they have it pretty much all wrong.)

-Porunorori (Porn Lolitas, they are also not considered Lolita and other than the fashion part, they have nothing in common with real Lolitas. So naturally, we don't 'accept' them, either.)

-Erorori (Erotic Lolita, similar to Porn Lolitas, they show a lot of skin, which is an erotic type thing in Japan. The Japanese aren't fond of showing a lot of skin, hence the stockings (Though, since I haven't been raised in the Japanese culture, I like tank tops...) They wear a lot of red and black, and corsets, and are bondage-y.)

-Itarori (Annoying Lolita, painfully annoying, they are usually over 30, wear way too elaborate make-up, use super polite language, carry a doll everywhere they go, wear clothes that do not suit them, and are ultra-snobby.)
