Apple iPhone Trade-in ProgramApple is reportedly readying a new program that will allowowners to trade in their old handsets for a credit toward newproducts, Bloombergreports. Apple will look to boost sales of newer devices with the program, of course, and this will be the first time Apple has offered an in-store iPhone trade-in program Apple already has a device recycling program in placeon its website that allows users to trade in their old Apple gear, including the iPhone, for store credit. Apple will reportedly team with Brightstar to run the new program, which is the same company that manages handset trade-in programs for AT&T and others. AT&T currently offers customers a credit of up to $200 for old iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S handsets, though it is unclear if Apple will offer similar rates.
