Rebecca Judd defends Channel Nine colleague Amber Sherlock over THAT meltdown about Julie Snook wearing white

Bec, who herself is a weather reader on Nine's 6pm news bulletin in Melbourne, said that despite the widespread outrage at Sherlock's homecoming dresses
and attitude towards journalist Julie Snook, she understood her issue.

'I could totally see where Amber was coming from,' Bec said.

'I think [the backlash] has been very unfair. Live TV is high pressure. Men wouldn't be treated the same, they would not have to deal with that.

'They are both incredible women... I have been able to work with both of them when I have been doing the weather and the 4pm news into Sydney, and they have been nothing but great to me.' 

Bec's decision to speak out comes as both Sherlock and Snook returned to TV screens.

On Monday, Snook appeared during the morning news update, wearing a vivid blue top that could not be mistaken for white this time around.
