A happy life

I baked a birthday cake for my husband.
Ryosuke, who is really a sunshine person, always picks me up.
I gave him a big hug.
He is not pleased and satisfied with his birthday the same as
Kim JongUn, North Korean new leader, but don't be upset about that.
King of Rock & Roll, Elvis Presley was born on Jan. 8 and shared the same birthday!!!

We had a porridge with seven spring herbs this morning.
I bought 'seven herbs set' at grocery store , 398yen.

I cooked the food on New Years Eve and it supposed to last 3 days
so I didn't have to work in New Year days.

Grilled food, simmered food and vinegary food were arranged in a
three-storied boxes but some of them were bought from supermarket.

We are hanging his picture on the wall and enjyoying all the year around.
The dragon is symbol of power and wealth.
The coming year of dragon is just about the corner.
This picture was painted by my son when he was in the elementary school.
Now he's grown-up, 32 years old.

I bought some gift certificate at Isetan and I paid 10,100yen to get 1,000yen
worth of certificate.
One hundred yen goes to Iwate disaster area.

Typoon landed in Sagamihara bringing strong winds and heavy rains.
My favorite umbrella was blown inside out.
I was looking at my broken umbrella for a loooong time

Darkness comes quickly after sunset in fall.
I saw a cricket in my wall.
Only the male crickets chirp, I know.
He was charping all night. I had a secret admirer in my wall !!
It sounds like he's hooked on me Oh, yeah
Next morning he was nowhere to be seen
I was so hurt

Entomologist said cricket has strange habits.
The cricket has 3 calls: 1)mating call 2)second warning call 3)the 1st warning call
I couldn't hear the difference among three.
