Givenchy Holiday 2012 T-Shirts & Scarves

May 15 [Thu], 2014, 12:46

This year was host to many new trends in hip hop culture. One being the emergence of luxury fashion houses, like Givenchy, becoming a staple among artist and fans alike. The brand’s designer, Ricardo Tisci, has risen to fame with his unique design cues and usage of dark colors and iconic symbols. Today they bring forth a small collection of new tees and scarves designs for the holiday season. And from the looks of things, Givenchy won’t lose any steam heading into 2013.

Ricardo Tisci makes great use of classic patterns throughout this small holiday range. The black and white t-shirts showcase the paisley scheme along with stars and army enthused prints. We see the scarves with a similar aesthetic and coloring to coordinate with the design. Featuring the bravado laced appeal that has drawn such a large new audience to the brand, Givenchy impresses with more great product. Check out the styles below and look for it in stores soon.

Givenchy is ushering in their Spring/Summer 2013 collection with a polarizing religious theme. The iconic imagery dons much of the Riccardo Tisci designed collection and including the new piece featuring Madonna. And no, not the “like a virgin” singer, the real Madonna. The printed satin and jersey made sweatshirt boast an luxe aesthetic based in comfort and opulence. The Parisian-based brand is making a statement with this new piece which above all, makes a strong stance against last years ever popular Rottweiler inspired garms.

Starting with a rather simplistic 100% cotton sweatshirt, the Givenchy Madonna Satin piece boast a ribbed waistband and cuffs for proper fitting accented by the satin chest area Givenchy Pants Men. The Madonna graphic is front and center surrounded by the brands customary starred print http://www.givenchyonlineshop.us/givenchy-nightingale-bag-c-4.html. In monochromatic black Givenchy shirt, the sweater is luxurious while also somewhat relaxed. Check out the looks below and shop this new piece now at MR. PORTER.

We all know winter is the best season of the year for fashion. It brings out much of the best in our wardrobes and the heavy outerwear items that rarely see the light of day. In fact, it forces us to wear more of our highly coveted garments due to the power of layering. But even with that, there is a lot to be said about spring. Its cool, not cold. Tomorrow marks the release of the highly anticipated collaborative effort between Nike and Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci. Following a launch event in NYC last night the collection including the Nike + R. T. Air Force 1 Lo, Nike + R. T. Air Force 1 Mid, Nike + R. T. Air Force 1 Hi, and the Nike + R. T. Air Force 1 Boot is set to take flight tomorrow. But before it does, both Nike and Tisci saw fit to get to unveil a look at the t-shirt that will accompany the sneaker collection Givenchy Sweatshirt Men.

Rather simplistic in nature yet representing one of the biggest collaborations of the year, the Nike + R. T. T-Shirt is a plain white tee with a Swoosh, a star, and Tisci’s initials. That’s it. About as basic as they come yet exceptional cool from a minimalistic perspective. Check it out above and look for it along with the sneaker release tomorrow, Friday March 21 at select retailers, including SOTO Berlin.
