The Apple Watch Is Coming to Paris Fashion Week

We've bemoaned the unwearability of wearable tech, because while all the gadgets might be nifty, they aren't quite compatible with most outfits. But leave it to Apple to be the game changer, per usual: The highly-anticipated, just-unveiled Apple Watch has earned a slot at Paris Fashion Week, which means that wearable tech is now OFFICIALLY chic.

WWD reports that Apple will preview the Apple Watch at high fashion boutique Colette on Tuesday, first for an editor preview from 8:30-10:00 a.m, and then for the general public after that. Colette plans on selling the watch when it is available for retail early next year. WWD also points out that the 10:30 A.M. Chanel show is just a quick jaunt from the store, which likely means, in other news, that the jaunt from Colette to the Grand Palais will be street style gold tomorrow morning.

In any case, if Dior, Chanel, and the rest of the Paris Fashion Week elite weren't enough of a draw, this just might be. Best of luck finding your last minute flights!
