にほんで しごとをして うけとったおかね（きゅうりょう）には、「ぜいきん」が ふくまれています。
２ついじょうの しょくばから もらったおかねの １ねんぶんの ごうけいがくを やくしょ（ぜいむしょ）に つたえなければなりません。フリーターやパート、アルバイトのひとも おなじです。
ぜいきんは おおくとられていることがあり、あとから はらったぜいきんが もどってくる ことがあります。
びょういんに はらったおかねや せいめいほけん、ねんきんほけんなどに はらったおかねの いちぶが もどることもあります。
３がつ１５にちまでに 「ぜいむしょ」へ とどけてください。これを「かくていしんこく」といいます。

Today’s information is about tax. Anyone who has income or profits in Japan is required to pay income tax regardless of nationality. For employees receiving a salary from a company, the company will withhold and make the tax payment. Those who are self-employed, those who have real-estate income etc, must file their own year-end tax return (called Kakutei shinkoku) and pay the correct amount of income tax due. You may get tax deductions for hospital bills, life insurance coverage, or national pension plan payments, etc.
You must file by March 15 at a local tax office.
