<3 In the making

The 14th of February its Valentines day,
and I wanted to make something fitting.
Im working on this kissing picture (a pose wich is
crazy hard to draw)
I especially had to redraw the girl several times
before finding a fitting angle.
Again, this is a digital image, and I already think
Im making progress from the last one :)
Not finnished at all, but I hope you like it so far

Dear pals

Here comes the only (at least right now) picture I dare
to show you from my upcoming how-to-draw-shojo-course
in monthly Shojo Stars. Im still working on the first part of five
that has february 20th as a deadline. You will be able to
read the first one it in the may number.
Until then, Im afraid Im not suppose to post anything more
from it... :3
Anyways, youre always welcome to ask me anything about
the content of the course and maybe give me more ideas

Innekatterna ~ pt 2

Hi everybody!
I just got the latest nr of monthly "Kattliv",
the premiere of my strip comic "Innekatterna".
Of course, it was the first ones that you could
see earlier in this category (the most magazines
are having deadline at least one month before
publishing). That means that Ive already made
the second part that Im going to post here.
With respect for the magazine, I guess you
understand that I cant have them with text
on my blog, but I hope you like it anyways

Good evening everyone (or good night I guess).
Just a short post for you whove been complaining about
the NBS homepage that never gets updated :)
Well it is now (updated)!
Updated illustration section, CV section (for you who
actually read that one???), and not the least - my
profile picture is exchanged for a somewhat better one.
Or actually much better one.
The old one was horrible.
For you who want to see the new profile pic a little

NBS in daily Sydsvenskan!

こんばんはみな-さん

Here by the day I visited a manga exhibition held
at the "Louisiana museum" in Denmark together
with the daily magazine "Sydsvenskan".
NBS was suppose to give professional comments
and other info about what could be seen and
ourself. It all turned out very good (even if a
magazine never really write things 100% that you said
it) and we were happy to be a part of it.
Feel free to read the whole article online with a
cheesy picture of me looking like Im brunette included >_>;

"Gaijin" For Kodansha

First of all, I would like to announce that Ive had
a problem with replying to your comments on the
last entry. Its not like I havent read your comments,
its just that the page fucks up sometimes.
I hope its working soon again

So now you know that

Anyways;
Kodansha use to have a yearly manga contest for
non-japanese artists. The winner will get published
in (I think it was) Early morning Jump and its also
a great chance for getting contacts and maybe further publicity.
The last time Natalia managed quite well and got a
place among the finalists. This time Im going to be
prepared and make a bit longer novel-manga.
This ones called "Gaijin" and is planned to be 30-40 pgs.
I dont want to spoil too much of the story but I
will post the two first pages here

"Shotaro" is sleeping on the train.

"INNEKATTERNA" For Kattliv

Finally its decided

Im going to make cat-comic-strips for the pretty much
one and only cat magazine in Sweden.

For you cat lovers;
Check the magazine here

Innekatt is simply the swedish word for
a cat living indoor (mostly expensive cats
or cats living in the city)

The story plot is simply a story about the cats
Patricia (Siames) and Elias (Persian)

Based on two of my good friends.
When they and their mistress are moving together
with her boyfriend they end up in a pretty
central neighborhood filled with dogs, other cats,
cars and a lot more happenings than in their old home.
The biggest change for the cats is their mistress
boyfriends little kitten called Sari who they dont
get very well along with...

Since I dont want to spoil everything,
I will instead post the two first strips here.
These strips are a remake (newer and better)
of the first ones I made.

The Childhood Friend

While waiting for Simon-くん to finnish his own comic, so we can start the
comic school project I decided to make something else selfbiographic.
Yes, I have to admit that Ive been to scared to touch this gengre before,
and its really time to get my chicken ass in there!
Therefore;
My latest mini project is a few short stories from when I was a kid

Ofcourse I got millions of touching, funny and stupid stories to pick from,
so I had to choose the most memorable ones
(I will ONLY write the titles right now, so dont even think about asking me what they are about. Its a secret until then):
"Before Lassie, there was Nalle"
"Boxer of the Baskervilles"
"August in June"
"Alexander the great"
"The cardboard Ghosts"

There you Have them!
BUT - I am going to spoil one of them right now.
August in June = The childhood friend. This one goes to a
very special (and somewhat weird) friend of mine that I used to
play with as a kid. August and me are both born 86 and
became best friends. Very odd best friends.
This manga is about our most interesting and totally wacko
memories and games togehter. Here goes the first two pages.
Reading direction: Japanese. Not bekause I think you actually can read it.
