saturday, while trying to locate the shoe outlet store, we came across this cafe which looked kinda cosy and warm so we decided to have lunch there and get out of the wind (it wasn't really cold.. only 1 deg celsius but the wind was rather strong)

the staff and food were great!!


^reuben (with pastrami) and hazelnut latte. they accidentally made our drinks order again so we each had an extra drink free hehehehe. it was so warming and delicious i finished both

unfortunately the shoe store closed the moment we reached, so we went there again today but i didn't see anything i like except for a pair of wedges from ralph lauren.. it was half a size smaller than my shoe size though so i didn't buy it the geox and anne klein were super cheap, only around usd35 for a pair, plus we had $10-off coupons which meant one pair would only cost usd25. but the walk there was sooo long (45 mins to and 45 mins back is no joke.. ) i didn't want to leave empty handed so i bought a pair of purple heels from steve madden (AGAIN ahahaha wanna how many pairs i bought from dear steve?). they're kinda heavy and it's highly impossible that i'll wear them but they really cheap :D

also, we went to the highly recommended flour bakery and cafe and it was soooo crowded. wanted to take pictures of the tasty cupcakes and cookies but oh well... the wind was too strong today (we had trouble walking) and the frosting was all squashed against the box so no photos sorry

^every time i sit in curry (which is everyday. curry is the name of the canteen wakakaka) i always EAT. i don't know why they have to sell butterscotch pudding in such a biggggg serving. only managed to finish half even though i was starving.

and.. i'm sorry singapore, the filet-o-fish really does contain just HALF a slice of cheddar. stupid STOMPer hmph.

btw singapore's filet-o-fish is a lot nicer... hehehe. butbutbut the angus burgers here are so delicious!!

right now i'm sitting in the canteen (which looks more like a highclass library than anything else) eating a highly colored fruit platter which cost a freaking usd5. there's pineapple (yellow), cantaloupe (orange), melon (green), watermelon (red) and grapes (purple). i've just finished eating and i see a sea of purple in the container.

anyway i've been getting requests for me to post my shopping here (other than food food and more food hahaha) on my blog.. honestly i'm not comfortable doing that but after thinking for a night i suppose i will do it once, just for this entry...

so on saturday we went to prudential AGAIN (and again on sunday) but i'm just gonna post some stuff about my saturday only.. else all of you are gonna faint at the sheer volume of stuff bought in the 2 days (sze said it's enough to create a new wardrobe ahaha)


^the people at saks fifth avenue are soooo nice!!! went YSL to get the touch eclat concealer, (but ended up getting a lip gloss too, which was just released as part of their spring collection and it's SOOO PRETTY~~) and even though i only bought 2 items (which though, admittedly, cost quite a lot), the sales assistant gave me so much freebies!! other than a makeup base, mascara, lip pencil, eye liner pencil from YSL itself, she also gave me concealer and 3 step cleansing samples from cle de peau, liquid foundation samples from armani and perfume samples from bvlgari

^forgot about the oyster crackers and poured them in only when i'm almost finished with the chower

and HAHAHAHA remember i said i won't buy godiva anymore?

the godiva people are nice too! while i was waiting for my chocolixir they gave us free caramel truffles and i got another free piece of my choice

^bcbg maxazria has got some of the prettiest hoodies ever!!! they're so comfortable and beautiful i went back and bought another brown one on sunday


^shoes again (T_T) but they're so cute i couldn't resist~ can't decide if this pair or the maxazria hoodie(s) is my favourite buy of the week


^macs for dinner.. look at the insane amount of fries they give for a HAPPY MEAL

one amazing thing here is that it's so hard to find macs. i was craving for macs soooo badly so we went to downtown crossing to eat


but it's huge. and so tasty i couldn't stop myself. after finishing it i felt as though i was gonna die. i still wanna eat filet-o-fish next week if i manage to find a macs nearby my place.. and see if it's really supposed to contain only half a slice of cheddar. Tentatively Stingy Singapore.



said i'll buy buy valrhona only from yesterday onwards but i still ended up getting these AGAIN. my god, the coconut cream one is HEAVENLY

didn't buy anything today except for a paul frank shirt. i'm trying real hard to saveeeee

weather's like !@#$%^&* cold and i was still telling sze that feb will be better. i was so wrong!! temperature went down by more than 10 deg cel 2 days ago and it's gonna stay at around -8 -10 deg cel next week ohhhh myyyyy godddd i'm turnin' into a what's worse is that i'm eating so much unhealthy stuff my legs are getting a lot fatter AND i have to wear more pants under my jeans so i'm having a hard time squeezing into my jeans every morning (which results in me being late for school) AHAHAHA. i bet by the next -3 deg cel i can just go around in an oversized sweater and skip the stockings.

and i haven't recovered from my cold/flu/whatever is making my nose run faster than the wind here. speaking about wind i really hate the wind which threatens to bite off my nose every time i go out. it's not that i like to wrap myself up like a retarded-looking nonya rice dumpling but the thing is the wind messes up my hair real bad so i have to wear my fur hood. but again the wind is sooo strong it always blows back my fur hood so i have to button all the buttons and zip all the zips i can find on my winter coat.

aish whatever, i'm going to make curry rice for dinner now so byeeeeee
